SAN ANTONIO — Kawhi Leonard had 20 points Tuesday night and the San Antonio Spurs wore down the short-handed Los Angeles Clippers 108-87 to match the second-longest home winning streak to open a season in NBA history.

San Antonio won its 33rd straight home game this season, tying Orlando’s start to the 1995-1996 season.

LaMarcus Aldridge added 17 points, and reserve guards Patty Mills and Manu Ginobili added 15 points and 13 points, respectively, for the Spurs (57-10).

Los Angeles (42-24), still playing without Blake Griffin, lost its second straight.

The Clippers’ reserves were outscored 51-20 by the Spurs’ bench.

MAGIC 116, PISTONS 110: Evan Fournier scored 30 points, and reserve Jason Smith had 25 points and 13 rebounds for Orlando at home.

Victor Oladipo scored 23 points for the Magic, who led by 18 in the third quarter but had to hold off a second-half rally by Denver. Brandon Jennings added 12 points and 11 assists.

The Nuggets had six players score in double figures, led by Gary Harris with 18 points, but didn’t have enough energy or offense to complete the comeback. Will Barton had 15 points, and Nikola Jokic and Emmanuel Mudiay scored 14 apiece for Denver.

Orlando led 81-63 with four minutes left in the third period.

NETS 131, 76ERS 114: Bojan Bogdanovic scored a career-high 44 points and Brooklyn had a season-high scoring total at home.

Sean Kilpatrick had 19 points, Brook Lopez added 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Thaddeus Young finished with 14 points and 16 rebounds for the Nets.

Isaiah Canaan led the 76ers with 20 points. Nerlens Noel, Ish Smith and Nik Stauskas each had 18.

RAPTORS 107, BUCKS 89: Kyle Lowry scored 25 points and Toronto, despite resting its leading scorer, DeMar DeRozan, had no trouble at Milwaukee.

Giannis Antetokounmpo had 18 points, 12 rebounds and nine assists in 35 minutes for Milwaukee, just missing a triple-double.

DeRozan, who averages 23.8 points per game, was in uniform but didn’t play after starting each of the team’s first 65 games and playing 39 minutes Monday night in a loss to Chicago.
