The Journal Tribune, a daily newspaper serving York County, Maine, for 132 years, is seeking a full-time reporter to join its award-winning staff.
Qualified applicants will have a college degree, preferably in journalism or communications, have a strong writing background, and be familiar with Associated Press style. Candidates should also be comfortable posting content to social media and the web. Photography skills are a plus.
Reporters will be required to write a wide range of articles ranging from local government, crime and community news to features and investigative/enterprise pieces, as well as shoot photos and videos. Must be able to multitask, be a self-starter and have strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
