The Ark, a vegan cafe in Lewiston, has a new name and is under new management.

The Ark, which was dedicated to building healthy communities through faith-based activities and more healthful food, will reopen Thursday as The Olive Branch Cafe, with a new look and a new menu.

The Ark was open three days a week; the Olive Branch Cafe will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m to 2 p.m. Friday, according to the new director, Tony Cuffori.

Evenings at the cafe will be reserved for health lectures, cooking classes, Bible studies and herbal remedy workshops. The cafe is non-profit, so most classes are free.

The cafe is at 791 Lisbon St.
