He was born in Huntington, In and is survived by Peggy, his wife of 40 years. Also surviving are four daughters: Tawne (George) Cecil, Albion, IN, Tammy (Jim) Byerley, Huntington, IN, Terry (Joe) Boggs, Conway, SC and Tina (Tom) Riggle, Huntington, IN, 11 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren and 1 brother, Joseph, Huntington, IN. Mel was predeceased by his parents and 5 siblings.
Memorial service is Saturday, March
12, 2016, 3:00pm at the
Topsham Seventh
Day Adventist
Church, Topsham,
ME.
