A fire completely destroyed a West Paris home at 8 Finn Road late Thursday night, authorities said.

One firefighter from the town of Oxford was transported to the hospital for unknown injuries as a result of the two-alarm blaze, said West Paris Deputy Chief Troy Billings.

Residents of the farm house escaped uninjured, Billings said, but when crews arrived, the home was already fully engulfed in flames.

“It was an older building, for sure,” he said. “On arrival it was well involved.”

Fire crews from about a dozen surrounding communities responded, Billings said.

Finn Road is a dead-end lane located about three miles east of the intersection of routes 26 and route 219.
