A body discovered Monday afternoon near railroad tracks in Biddeford is that of a 58-year-old Saco man who walked away from his Winter Street residence early Monday in extremely cold temperatures.

Gary Googoo’s body was discovered near the South Street overpass and Western Avenue, police said. He suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Police said he left Living Innovations at 15 Winter St., Saco, sometime between 2 and 6 a.m. Monday. His body was discovered in the early afternoon. Police did not say how Googoo died, and the investigation is continuing.
