A house fire early Monday morning in Hollis is being investigated by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

There were two residents at home at the time of the fire, which was called in at 1:28 a.m., according to a Sanford regional dispatcher. No injuries were reported.

The house is on 34 Hollis Road (Route 202) near the Salmon Falls bridge.

Fire departments from 10 towns responded because of the extreme cold. Crews were still cleaning up the site at 7 a.m., and traffic was down to one lane.
