PHILADELPHIA — Moriah Jefferson had 25 points, eight assists and eight steals to help No. 1 UConn beat scrappy Temple 85-60 on Sunday for the Huskies’ 61st straight victory.

Breanna Stewart added 24 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and six blocks for the Huskies (24-0, 13-0 American), who have won 101 straight games against non-ranked teams.

Except for a blemish against St. John’s on Feb. 18, 2012, UConn has victories in 278 of its past 279 games against non-Top 25 opponents.

(3) Notre Dame 90, (19) Miami 69: Arike Ogunbowale had 18 points, Brianna Turner scored 15 points and blocked six shots, and the Irish (24-1, 12-0 ACC) beat the Hurricanes (21-5, 9-4) for their 17th straight win, in South Bend, Indiana.

Notre Dame had little trouble while stretching its ACC win streak to 28.

(5) Maryland 79, Northwestern 70: Shatori Walker-Kimbrough scored 27 points, and the Terrapins (23-3, 12-2 Big Ten) held off the Wildcats (14-12, 3-11) in Evanston, Illinois.

(21) Oklahoma 74, (6) Texas 56: Vionese Pierre-Louis scored 17 points, and the Sooners (17-7, 8-5 Big 12) beat the Longhorns (22-2, 11-2) in Norman, Oklahoma.

(7) Ohio State 77, Penn State 63: Ameryst Alston hit eight 3-pointers and finished with 26 points as the Buckeyes (21-4, 13-1 Big Ten) beat the Nittany Lions (9-16, 4-10) in State College, Pennsylvania.

(8) Oregon State 72, Utah 53: Jamie Weisner scored from deep and on slashing drives and tied career highs with 27 points and four steals as the Beavers (22-3, 13-1 Pac-12) built an early lead and cruised to a victory over the Utes (14-11, 6-8) in Corvallis, Oregon.

(10) Florida State 94, North Carolina 63: Adut Bulgak had 19 points and 14 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season, leading the Seminoles (21-4, 11-1 ACC) past the Tar Heels (14-13, 4-8) in Tallahassee, Florida.

(14) UCLA 63, Washington 59: Jordin Canada scored 16 points, including the game-clinching free throws with 2.3 seconds left, and added seven rebounds, nine assists and six steals as the Bruins (19-6, 11-3 Pac 12) beat the Huskies (17-8, 8-6) in Los Angeles.

Auburn 80, (16) Florida 59: Katie Frerking scored 11 of her 18 points in the fourth quarter and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Tigers (18-8, 8-5 SEC) to a win over the Gators (19-6, 7-5) in Auburn, Alabama.

Nebraska 73, (17) Michigan State 66: Jessica Shepard scored 26 points, Natalie Romeo had 25 as the Cornhuskers (17-8, 8-6 Big Ten) ended a 10-game losing streak against ranked teams, beating the Spartans (19-7, 9-5) in Lincoln, Nebraska.

(23) DePaul 102, Butler 63: Chanise Jenkins and Jessica January scored 17 points apiece and the Blue Demons (21-7, 13-2 Big East) rolled to their fifth straight victory, beating the Bulldogs (8-17, 3-11) in Rosemont, Illinois.

MEN’S

(8) Michigan State 88, Indiana 69: Denzel Valentine had 30 points and 13 assists, Matt Costello scored a career-high 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and the Spartans (21-5, 8-5 Big Ten) beat the Hoosiers (20-6, 10-3) in East Lansing, Michigan.

(9) North Carolina 85, Pittsburgh 64: Brice Johnson scored 19 points to lead a dominating offensive performance that helped the Tar Heels (21-4, 10-2 ACC) beat the Panthers (17-7, 6-6) in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

(12) Miami 67, Florida State 65: Sheldon McClellan scored 20 points and the Hurricanes (20-4, 9-3 ACC) fought off a second-half rally from Seminoles (16-9, 6-7) in Tallahassee, Florida.
