A tractor-trailer truck jackknifed on Route 202 in front of the Maine State Police Troop A barracks in Alfred around 2 p.m. Monday. No one was injured, but the highway was closed for several hours. According to state police, the accident was likely weather-related. The cab of the truck was seriously damaged, and the fuel tanks were punctured. Department of Environmental Protection and the Maine Department of Transportation were called to the scene.
