She was born a daughter to Ernest and Yvonne (Bedard) Pimpare on Sept. 4, 1935, in Biddeford. Theresa attended St. Joseph School in Biddeford.
On July 4, 1957, she married Roger “Pop” Lariviere at St. Joseph Church in Biddeford.
Theresa went to work at various local shops, including Kesslen, Snows Canning and John Roberts. She then co-owned and operated Pop’s Tavern with her husband, Roger, until her retirement in 1985.
During her retirement, she enjoyed babysitting her only granddaughter. She loved to knit, cook, play cards with her best friend, Evie Hartsell, and listen to her books on tape.
She always enjoyed going to camp at Granny Kent Pond. She also loved to celebrate all the holidays, especially St. Patrick’s Day.
She is preceded in death by: one brother, Pete Pimpare.
Theresa is survived by: her loving husband of 58 years, Roger “Pop” Lariviere of Biddeford; two daughters, Suzanne Colby of Lyman, and Sandra Demers and her husband John of Biddeford; one granddaughter, Jennifer Demers of Biddeford; one brother, Ray Pimpare and his wife Dottie of Tampa, Florida; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
