BIDDEFORD — The Home Depot will be hiring 40 new store associates at the Route 111 store this spring, the company announced Wednesday.
The home improvement retailer is hiring 450 associates statewide and more than 80,000 nationwide, the company said in a news release.
Lindsay Ash, a spokeswoman for Home Depot, was unable to provide a breakdown on how many jobs at the Biddeford location will be full-time, and how many will be part-time. She said the breakdown varies by store.
A starting hourly wage was not available. Ash said standard wages vary based on the market, experience and position.
Opportunities include sales, operations and cashier positions across all departments, from the lumber aisle to the garden shop.
“There’s no better time to join our team than spring, whether you’re a college student, recent grad or a veteran hoping to build a career, a retiree who wants a fun job, or anyone who simply enjoys home improvement,” said Tim Crow, executive vice president of Human Resources, in the news release.
Applications must be submitted online at The Home Depot careers site, careers. homedepot.com.
