Maine State Police are investigating the discovery of a man’s body Tuesday morning in the parking lot of a recreational area in Durham.
The body was discovered at Runaround Pond, which is on a road by the same name. Police said the body appears to be that of a middle-aged man and there was no vehicle found nearby.
The body was found by a man using the portable rest room at the parking lot this morning. Detectives are awaiting representatives from the State Medical Examiner’s Office to arrive, who will remove the body and transport it back to their Augusta office for autopsy and identification.
