Krysta Lilly was hired as director of communications for The Maine Heritage Policy Center.
Lilly, of Arundel, previously worked with the National Rifle Association – Institute for Legislative Action. During her tenure, she fought for second amendment rights in over 25 states and was involved in the passage of Constitutional Carry in Maine and the defeat of the bear hunting referendum in 2015.

The Bowdoin International Music Festival has hired Casey Oakes as public relations and marketing coordinator.
Oakes brings a background in theater work, having previously worked at Cape May Stage in Cape May, New Jersey, and Gloucester Stage in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
