A Limington woman died early Monday morning in a single-car crash on Route 25 in Standish.

At about 5:25 a.m., deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office and members of Standish Fire/EMS responded to a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Ossipee Trail West (Route 25) and Hummingbird Lane in Standish.

According to Capt. Don Goulet, a yellow 2015 Subaru XVcross was traveling east on Route 25, left the roadway and struck a telephone pole. The lone female occupant, Susan Jensen, 59, of Limington, was pronounced dead at the scene. The sheriff’s office is investigating and reconstructing the crash.

No criminal charges are expected. It is believed that icy road conditions were a factor in the crash, Goulet said.
