Windham police responded Thursday night to a motor vehicle crash on River Road which injured two pedestrians.

According to a press release, police say Todd Bidwell, 33, of Windham, struck the two pedestrians at about 5:30 p.m. as they were crossing the road in front of Dolby Funeral Chapel, near the intersection of Route 202. A male and female were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, but police report that speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the incident.
