On Monday, Jan. 18, a breakfast in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. will take place at 8:30 a.m. at the First Parish Unitarian Universalist church, located on 114 Main St. in Kennebunk.
“The Justice System and Injustice for People of Color” will be the topic presented by Rev. Dr. H. Roy Partridge for the 14th year in a row.
Tickets cost $15 for adult and $5 for children. There will be a full breakfast provided as well as live music.
Proceeds will benefit the NAACP Maine State Prison branch. Reservations are recommended. Call Martha Murray at 985- 1411 or email FirstParishKennebunk@gmail.com.
