Windham police are soliciting the public’s help to find a vehicle that caused a hit-and-run collision Sunday afternoon.

At approximately 5:20 p.m. the Windham Police Department received a call for an accident at the intersection of Route 115 (Tandberg Trail) and Falmouth Road.

According to Sgt. Jason Andrews, a dark red or maroon SUV (described as a Chevrolet Trailblazer or similar) was traveling east on Route 115 when it made a right-hand turn onto Falmouth Road striking a 2012 Dodge Caravan that was stopped at the traffic light on Falmouth Road. The occupants of the Dodge were not injured.

The SUV continued on Falmouth Road toward Route 202 (Gray Road) after the crash. The SUV involved should have significant front-end damage as a result of the crash, Andrews said.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Officer Justin Hudnor at the Windham Police Department 207-892-2525.
