Voters across York County and all of Maine headed to the polls on Tuesday to vote in municipal elections or on statewide referendums. Voters got out early in Biddeford, where polls opened at 7 a.m. City Clerk Carmen Morris said voters were ready for the opening, and by 7:04 a.m., a goodly number of citizens were casting their ballots. Polls in some York County communities opened at 6 a.m., others 7 a.m., and most at the traditional 8 a.m. time. All polls closed at 8 p.m. and results began flowing in soon thereafter.
