Route 25 in Gorham reopened at 2 p.m. after a single-car crash at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Thomas Reagan, 21, the lone occupant, was not ejected in the crash, as earlier reported, but had been helped by passersby by the time rescue workers arrived. He was transported to Maine Medical Center for injuries that were not life-threatening, said Gorham Police Chief Dan Jones.

The sedan Reagan was driving left the road, hit a utility pole and rolled into a stand of trees.

The road was closed until 2 p.m. while Central Maine Power Co. repaired a utility pole damaged in the crash.

Reagan’s driving history includes suspensions for driving drunk on Aug. 27 and Oct. 9 and a speeding conviction in 2012, though it says he has had no accidents. Jones said police are investigating the crash for potential charges but have not filed any yet.
