The Storm claimed their first-ever State Championship on Saturday, triumphing over challengers Greely three sets to one.

Scarborough entered the postseason ranked fifth; they defeated Biddeford (No. 12; three sets to two), TA (No. 4; 3-1) and Cape Elizabeth (No. 1; 3-1) to reach the Final, which took place at South Portland High School.

The Rangers began the tournament in second place. They bested No. 7 MDI 3-0 and then No. 3 Falmouth 3-2 to reach the Final.
