SANFORD — The York County Opiates Task Force will convene a community conversation on heroin at 3-5 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13 at Sanford City Hall. Forum panelists will provide a comprehensive look at the heroin epidemic in Sanford and greater York County. Panelists include mental and physical health care professionals, law enforcement officials, addiction and prevention specialists, and members of the recovery community. Folks are encouraged to join the conversation to discuss what can be done to address the issue.
