MEMBERS OF THE LISBON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH EVENING CIRCLE organized a collection of school supplies for students of Lisbon Community School. Pictured are Pastor Elizabeth Bachelder Smith and retired Lisbon teacher and volunteer Carol Day with some of the backpacks, notebooks and school supplies. The church's mission includes supporting local community organizations such as Arbor House, New Beginnings and Tree Street Youth Center in Lewiston, LACO and the schools in Lisbon, by reaching out with donations of needed goods and supplies.
