On Saturday, Aug. 29, the South Portland High School Football Boosters will host a Softball Slam, an adult coed slow pitch tournament, at the Wainwright Fields complex.

Each of the 12 teams entered will play three games, with the championship round starting at about 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and cheer on their favorite team or player.
