BRUNSWICK — Mid-coast businesses and organizations are coming forward to support the fourth annual Mid-coast Veterans Council Golf tournament scheduled for Friday at the Brunswick Golf Club.
Registration for the tournament begins on Friday at 8 a.m., with a shotgun start slated for 9 a.m. Light refreshments will be served at registration.
In addition to light refreshments at registration, the council will provide lunch, a banquet and awards ceremony.
Registration forms and more information are available on the Veterans Council website at www.mid-coastveteranscouncil.org. Registration will close at 24 foursomes.
The cost for a foursome is $340, with individual signups costing $85. There are several team spots available.
The tournament is the major fundraising event for the Mid-coast Veterans Council. The council operates the Midcoast Veterans Resource Center, which provides resources for veterans’ services as well as the opportunity to obtain services from the Veterans Administration and other veterans’ service organizations in the Mid-coast area. The Resource Center is located at Brunswick Landing.
Prizes include a Toyota Prius for a hole-in-one on the fourth hole and a $2,000 putting contest.
