To Senator Susan Collins:
Shame on you for trying to nibble away at Planned Parenthood funding!
You know very well that once some services are denied funding, that your colleagues will continueto nibble, bit by bit until all funding is taken away.
Once again I repeat: Planned Parenthood is the largest, most widely recognized, most comprehensive and most utilized women’s health organization in the country. Its loss would be a huge blow to women and would send them back to the dark ages.
Your colleagues would rather fund “ their” women’s health programs: No abortions, no rational sex ed, no long term effective contraception, no cancer screening, abstinenceonly education without any mention of the real word practice of most people.
Do not think for even one second that your colleagues would stop at a single defunding of a few Planned Parenthood services. This is not a negotiation process, this is a war on women’s health, and they will do everything they possibly can to win that war, be it lie, cheat, obfuscate or even break their promises to fellow colleagues.
Concerned about the ‘sting’ films? How about an independent forensic analysis of the films to show the extent to which the films have been edited to show a single viewpoint.
Please listen toyour constituents, not your colleagues. Thank you.

Durham
