Sebago Days

Starting Friday, July 17, food, music, crafts, rides and games will line the midway in downtown Sebago as residents get ready to celebrate the 37th annual Sebago Days.

Following is a schedule of events:

Friday, July 17

5 p.m.: Midway opens

6-8 p.m.: Talent show featuring, toddlers, youth, teen and adult divisions

8 p.m.: Cruise Night featuring a car show, DJ, and 50/50 raffle

8 p.m.: Zombie Beach Boys perform

Saturday, July 18

8 a.m.: Family Fun Run and Yard Sale

9 a.m.-4 p.m.: Antique Engine Show (Rain location: George E. Jack School)

10 a.m.: Grand parade begins and midway opens

11:30 a.m. Wanda Plummer’s Dancers perform

4:00 p.m. Superimposed Christian Rock Group performs

6-8:00 p.m. Horse-drawn wagon rides

8:00 p.m. Half Moon Jug Band performs

9:30 p.m. Fireworks (rain date is Sunday, July 19)

• On Saturday, July 25 (rain date July 26) Pamela and David Donohue will host a putting contest at their four-hole golf course on Oak Drive, off Route 114, in Sebago. Tickets are $25 each or two for

$40. There will be food and beverages from 4-6 p.m., and a cash bar from 6-8 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Sebago’s Spaulding Library Memorial Library.

• On Wednesday, July 22, Sebago Historical Society will be presenting a “BYOB” (Bring Your Old Bottles) Program, featuring Walt Bannon as appraiser from 4-7 p.m. at the Historical Building on Convene Road. The Historical Society regular monthly meeting will follow.

Eat Local

• The Steep Falls Farmer’s Market located in the Steep Falls Village Park beside the Gazebo, is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• The Steep Falls Library Farmer’s Market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is located in front of the library on Pequawket Trail.
