SCARBOROUGH — Tanner Laberge struck out 13 and walked four while throwing a three-hitter and also hit an RBI triple and an RBI single to lead the Sebago Lakers (6-5) to a 7-0 win over Libby-Mitchell (3-9) in a Zone 3 American Legion game on Saturday.

Charlie Butler added three hits and drove in two runs for the Sebago Lakers.

Sam Warren went 2 for 2 with a pair of walks for Libby-Mitchell.

YANKEE FORD 10, MORRILL POST 1: Chris Valle hit a two-run double during a four-run fifth inning and finished with two hits and four RBI as Yankee Ford (6-6) downed Morrill Post in a Zone 3 game at Cheverus.

Peter Dutton gave up one unearned run and scattered nine hits with four strikeouts and no walks while throwing a complete game for Yankee Ford.

STAPLES CROSSING SWEEPS BONANZA OF SANFORD: Zach Quintal had four hits, including a three-run homer, and Holden Jackman had three hits and drove in two runs to lead Staples Crossing (8-3) to a 17-6, five-inning win over Bonanza of Sanford in the opener of a Zone 4 doubleheader at South Berwick.

In the second game, Kyle Parmley struck out seven and walked one while throwing a one-hitter for Staples Crossing as they completed the sweep with a 14-0, five-inning victory.

Jack Cahill hit a two-run single and a sacrifice fly for Staples Crossing and Jackman had two hits and four RBI.

SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS, FAYETTE-STAPLES SPLIT: Kerry Crepeau hit a three-run double during a five-run second inning and Joe Curit ended the game with a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth to lead Saco-Biddeford Savings (8-4) to an 11-1, five-inning win over Fayette-Staples (4-6) in the second game of a Zone 4 doubleheader at Biddeford.

In the opener Evan Balzano hit a two-run single in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the top of the sixth to lift Fayette-Staples to a 6-3 victory.

WELLS POST 143 SWEEPS MASSABESIC: Cody Cousins hit a two-run double in the second inning and added an RBI single in the third to lead Wells Post 143 (6-5) to an 11-2 win over Massabesic in the opener of a Zone 4 doubleheader at Waterboro.

Connor Pease struck out seven batters and did not allow a hit over five innings of work to earn the win for Wells.

Wells completed the sweep with a 6-2 win in the second game. Pease and Shawn Ramsey each hit RBI singles during a three-run first inning.
