Ilona was very passionate about her cooking, and always looked forward to family enjoying a good meal. She also loved flowers, as much as flowers loved her. There wasn’t anything that she couldn’t grow. She was very proud of her gardens.
She will forever be missed but will live on in our hearts forever.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor her memory may donate to
Winship Green, c/o Tamas Lucza, 33 Spruce St., Sabattus, ME 04280.
Ilona leaves behind her husband; two sons, Jozsef Lucza Jr.
Enfield, CT, Tamas Lucza and girlfriend Erica Hutchins of Sabattus, ME; as well as four grandchildren, Renata and Julius Reider, and Robert and Zander Lucza.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
