A May 23, 1979, Portland Press Herald photograph shows the entrance to the Funtown U.S.A. amusement park on Saco’s Route 1. A view from the same vantage point in 2015 shows that the drive-in restaurant has gone, but the car dealership and the landmark sign remain.
