The Riots’ season came to a close at 15-5 on Saturday afternoon at Morton Field in Augusta, where they squared off with Bangor in the Class A State Championship and ultimately succumbed 5-4.

Neither team played a particularly pretty game, by any account – each posted several errors – but it was the Rams who recovered best, capturing their second consecutive State crown.
