Anderson at home in Gorham
Anderson Equipment Co. showed Gorham town officials on Monday its new home at 18 Gorham Industrial Parkway.
The firm relocated from Cumberland to Gorham on March 23. It sells, repairs, supplies parts, and rents equipment to contractors. It also sells equipment to forestry operators.
“This is where all the key players are,” Brandon Mace, a regional manager for Anderson, told Gorham officials. “Everybody is pretty happy.”
It is located at the site of a former recycling business that upset residents and officials several years ago with large piles of visible debris. The site was cleaned up following court action sought by the town and state.
Anderson, which bought the Gorham property in 2012, has a 21,000-square-foor building that includes a showroom, conference room, warehouse and shops. It has a large outside display area for equipment and has 18 employees.
The company has 20 locations in six states, Mace said.
