Scarborough police reported on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon that they had located a 71-year-old man who had been missing since Tuesday night.

Michael Connors, a Scarborough resident, was last seen on East Grand Avenue in Scarborough around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday as he was leaving his residence to drive to the Maine Motel in South Portland.

The Facebook post said he was found in South Portland and is safe.
