The School Administrative District 75 Board of Directors will celebrate its retiring employees and appoint a Bowdoin Central School principal at its meeting tonight at Mt. Ararat High School.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in room 201.

Retiring employees to be recognized include Elizabeth “Liz” Bouchard (Bowdoinham Community School), Jane Kennedy (Williams-Cone School), Rick Renaud (Mt. Ararat Middle School), Gina Stokes (Mt. Ararat Middle School), Jean Mauck (Mt. Ararat Middle School), Dianne Boucher (Mt. Ararat Middle School), Jan Crosson (Mt. Ararat High School), Rebecca Williams Mt. Ararat High School), Marla Blake (Mt. Ararat High School), George Jenkins (Bowdoin Central School), Don Baker (Mt. Ararat Middle School), Susan Schwaab (Woodside Elementary School), Elizabeth Little (Williams-Cone School) and Candace Myers (Mt. Ararat High School). Charles Gill IV will be recognized for service as a student representative on the school board.

The school board will consider appointing Karen Goetting as a half-time art teacher at Bowdoinham Community School.

The board will consider a recommendation by the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Committee regarding adoption of a science and technology curriculum.

The school board will also hear a report on the Wednesday meeting of the Facilities Committee and consider committee recommendations.

Superintendent Brad Smith will report on the progress made toward district goals.
