A Bangor man was killed while crossing Hammond Street in Bangor Saturday night.

Bangor Police Lt. Catherine Rumsey said the man, whose identity is being withheld until his family is notified of his death, was hit by a vehicle at about 8:30 p.m.

The name of the driver has not been released. There have been no arrests. Police are continuing to investigate.

No further information was available from police.
