DURHAM, N.H. — The NFL scandal known as “Deflategate” will be the subject of an undergraduate course at the University of New Hampshire.

UNH sports law professor Michael McCann has designed the four-credit class for the fall term.

The course description says it will be about “the interplay between those footballs … and the legal, regulatory and journalistic systems governing sports.”

The New England Patriots were caught using underinflated footballs in January’s AFC title game. A report this week found sufficient evidence that the team violated NFL rules. Quarterback Tom Brady was found to be “at least generally aware” of the improprieties.
