Kelsey Freedman, Falmouth High Class of 2011 and Falmouth Spring Female Athlete of the Year in 2011, recently wrapped up her college career playing softball at Bates College. Freedman, a pitcher/second baseman, was named the NESCAC Player of the Week as her final act. Freedman finished with a career batting average of .305 with 22 extra base hits. Freedman holds all strikeout records at Bates, including single game (17), season (117) and career (335).
