Three local students have been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at the University of Rochester in New York. Nicole Marie Giggey, a sophomore from Bowdoin, is the child of Jean Giggey and Thomas Giggey and a graduate of Maine School of Science and Mathematics in Limestone. Alesa Mary Yuodsnukis, a senior from Brunswick, is the child of Alan Yuodsnukis and Lynn Yuodsnukis and a graduate of Brunswick High School. Ellison Sullivan Etnier, a freshman from Harpswell, is the child of Maryellen Sullivan of Portland and David Etnier of South Freeport and a graduate of Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham.

Emily Forster of Freeport has been accepted into the Peace Corps and is now on a 27-month assignment to Indonesia where she will be teaching English. Emily is a 2008 graduate of Freeport High School and a 2012 graduate of Smith College. She was a Government major and spent her junior year studying in Geneva, Switzerland.
