Bailey Adams, Scarborough, senior midfielder: Finished last season with 18 goals and 12 assists. Also had 22 ground balls.

Abby Biegel, Cheverus, senior attack: A four-year varsity player, Biegel is the strongest returning offensive player for the Stags, with 21 goals and 18 ground balls in 2014.

Kate Bosworth, Cape Elizabeth, senior goalie: Earned SMAA second-team honors last season and anchored the defense for a team that was Class B runner-up.

Korinne Buhunsky, Marshwood, senior midfielder: Second-leading scorer for the Hawks a year ago with 27 goals.

Jenny Bush, Kennebunk, junior midfield: A faceoff wizard who also had 31 goals and scooped up 27 groundballs in 2014.

Emily Johnson, Freeport, senior attack: A three-sport athlete also outstanding in soccer and hockey. Had 26 goals, 12 assists, 43 ground balls and 32 draw controls last year.

Paige LeBlanc, Thornton Academy, sophomore attack: Had 39 ground balls, 11 goals and six assists as a freshman.

Karlie Pike, Massabesic, senior attack: Pike helped lead the Mustangs to their first Class A title since 2007, scoring two overtime goals, including the winner in the third OT.

Lindsey Poirier, Marshwood, senior midfielder: A fourth-year varsity starter, she scored 42 goals last season and has 95 for her career.

Kaitlin Prince, Scarborough, senior attack: Emerged as Scarborough’s scoring leader with 35 goals, 12 assists and 21 ground balls in 2014.

Lily SanGiovanni, South Portland senior goalie: An all-stater who sported a .635 save percentage last year.

Kyra Schwartzman, Kennebunk, junior attack: Led Kennebunk with 38 goals last season, along with nine assists and 20 ground balls.

Sophie Sreden, Morse, senior midfielder: The reigning KVAC player of the year, she notched 35 goals and 14 assists last season.

Lauren Wells, Thornton Academy, senior midfield: She finished last season with 41 ground balls, the most among returning players. She also had five goals and six assists.
