The Portland Sea Dogs could not get their season started for a second straight day. The team postponed its Friday night game with the Reading Fightin’ Phils at Hadlock Field because of poor field conditions after Thursday’s snow. Thursday’s game had also been postponed.

Friday’s game will be made up Saturday as part of a doubleheader, starting at 1 p.m. – which was the scheduled start time for Saturday.

Instead of playing one nine-inning game, Portland and Reading will play two seven-inning games. An extra ticket is not needed for the second game.
