Cape Elizabeth and Yarmouth won their respective divisions in the Maine Drama Festival and advance to the New England finals, which will be in Maine April 23-25.

Eighteen schools competed for the state title and the chance to represent Maine at the New England Drama Festival. Camden Hills Regional High School in Rockport hosts.

Cape Elizabeth won the A finals on Saturday night. Host school Bangor was runner-up.

Yarmouth won the B title at Stearns High School. Lincoln Academy was runner-up.

Seventy-eight schools and nearly 3,000 students competed.
