Holy Week 2015 at the Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road, (Route 121) in Casco, begins with Palm/Passion Sunday on March 29 at 10 a.m. with choir singing and palms. That evening, the church will show the movie “Jesus Christ Superstar” at 5:30 p.m.

On Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m. a moving Maundy Thursday service takes place in the sanctuary.

On Friday, April 3, walkers will gather at 5:30 a.m. for the Good Friday Hunger Walk. Good Friday at noon is the beginning of a 24-hour Holy Vigil in the sanctuary.

On Easter Sunday, April 5, the church gathers at 6:30 a.m. overlooking Pleasant Lake for the daybreak service as the sun rises. This will be followed at 7 a.m. by an Easter breakfast cooked and served by the men of the church. A celebrational Easter service at 10 a.m. will feature a choir and trumpets and an Easter egg surprise.
