BIDDEFORD — The students of the month were recently chosen at the Biddeford Regional Center of Technology.  

Jordan Stickles of the engineering, architecture and drafting program was selected from the technology programs, and Mariah Brady of the health assistant program was selected from the business, education and health careers programs. The Bank of Maine provided monetary awards to the two students.

Other program nominees included: Ashley Campbell for early childhood Education, Mikayla Cloutier for auto body repair, Jessica Haskell for intro to medical sciences, Kayleigh Henderson for medical assisting, Dustin Johnson for Building trades, Ruo Mei Lin for Business information technology, Kyle Metcaff for auto mechanics, Josh Moulton for legal studies, Nick Peloquin for welding, Maegan Perreault for business and financial management and Logan Reny for electrical technology.

BRCOT provides 14 career and technical programs to more than 300 juniors and seniors from Biddeford, Kennebunk and Old Orchard Beach high schools as well as Thornton Academy in Saco. They learn the technical skills and academic knowledge required in these careers along with earning college credits to be prepared to succeed in the workplace and in college.
