The Gorham Rams jumped ahead of Messalonskee 2-0 in the first half of Saturday’s Class B Championship, on goals by Carl Bear and Travis Mansir, but the Eagles surged back in a huge way, come the third.

Messalonskee scored six goals in the game’s final 15 minutes to ultimately secure a 7-2 victory, thwarting Gorham’s hunt for a bit of friendly payback – the Eagles also beat the Rams in last year’s State Final.
