More snow is heading our way Tuesday night.

Chris Kimble, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service office in Gray, said the Portland area can expect 3 to 6 inches of snow, beginning around 10 p.m. Tuesday.

There is also a chance of snow, freezing rain and sleet before 7 a.m. Wednesday, conditions that could make for slick roads on the morning commute, Kimble said.

However, once the storm passes Wednesday morning, it should warm up considerably, with temperatures soaring into the low 40s by Wednesday afternoon.
