On Wednesday, March 4, Dr. Marilyn Sunderman, associate professor of theology at Saint Joseph’s College, will present a Lenten lecture, “Catherine McAuley: Woman of God,” discussing the various aspects of McAuley’s spirituality.

McAuley was the founder of the Sisters of Mercy, an international community of Roman Catholic women who dedicate their lives to the Gospel of Jesus and take vows of poverty, chastity, obedience, and service.

The March 4 presentation will be held from 7-8 p.m. in Room 128 of Harold Alfond Hall at Saint Joseph’s College. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided by the College’s Campus Ministry office.
