According to organizers, the second day of competition at the Sebago Lake Ice Fishing Derby has been canceled due to a forecasted blizzard moving through the area Saturday night and Sunday.
The decision to halt the tournament was made on the advice of the Maine Wardens Service. Organizers have also postponed Sunday’s awards ceremony to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Windham Veterans Center.
Midway through Saturday, organizers had weighed in several big fish. Brady Ouellette of Lewiston landed a 39-inch, 14.88-pound togue.
