WEST BATH – Mary F. Boucher, 72, of Woodlands Point Road, West Bath, Maine, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Mid Coast Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Bath, Maine, a daughter of Francis and Lucille McLaughlin. She attended Morse High School class of 1961. On Oct. 29, 1960, she married the love of her life Edward L. Boucher. Throughout her life she worked at Congress Sportswear, Montsweag Restaurant, Potpourri Bridal and the Bath Bus Service. She was an active member of the Bath Cosmopolitan Club for many years.

She was predeceased by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years; three daughters, Ginny Boucher and partner Mike Eastman, Elaine Plummer and husband David, Anne Marie Moore and husband Dwight; one son Paul Boucher and wife Sheri; 10 grandchildren, Dustin and his wife Mary Charlotte and Danny Plummer, Tommy Clifford, Tyler and fiancée Nikki, Travis and Trenton Moore, as well as Kayley, Mackenzie, Kyra and Miley Boucher and one greatgranddaughter Alina Clifford. She is also survived by her brother Frances “Ed” McLaughlin Jr. and his two children Meghan McLaughlin and partner Michelle Weigman and Kate Banimenia and her husband Imad, great niece Maya Banimenia, and her sister Ginny McLaughlin. She also leaves behind numerous extended family members and friends.

 
 
Mary was one talented lady, an exceptional seamstress, enjoyed painting, cross-stitching, cake decorating, etc. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family, as well as shopping, puzzle gatherings and board games with family and friends.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 13 from 4 to 6 p.m. at David E. Desmond Funeral Home, 638 High St., Bath, Maine. Funeral services will be celebrated at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 10 a.m. with a reception to follow at the West Bath Fire Station, 192 State Road, West Bath, Maine.
