SANFORD — Maurice G. Ledoux, 78, a lifelong resident of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2015 at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford.
He was born in Sanford on Jan. 12, 1937, a son of the late Maurice and Minnie (Ham) Ledoux. He served in the National Guard in Sanford.
For many years he was employed at Pioneer Plastics in Sanford. When he retired he had been employed by the Sanford Highway Department. He loved his nieces and nephews, playing the harmonica and dancing.
He is preceded in death by: his siblings, Lawrence Ledoux in 1984, Lewis Ledoux in 2003, Beatrice LaCount in 2012 and Elizabeth Preston in 2014.
He is survived by: his brother, Perley Ledoux of Farmington, New Hampshire; sister, Mabel Durand of Norfolk, Virginia; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at a later date at the Carll-Heald & Black Funeral Home, 580 Main Street, Springvale. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery.
