A Massachusetts man was killed in a single-car crash on Sunday River Road in Bethel early Saturday morning.

Police said Mickael Jette, 25, of Shrewsbury died at the scene of the 2:39 a.m. accident.

Oxford County Sheriff Sgt. Tim Holland said Jette was heading south in a 2006 Volvo sedan when the car crashed into a snowbank and rolled into a utility pole.

Holland said Jette was wearing a seat belt.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, Holland said.
