• The Casco Village Church United Church of Christ, 941 Meadow Road (Route 121) in Casco, invites everyone to Christmas Eve service on Dec. 24 at 7 p.m., a family-friendly service with Christmas carol singing and excited children being encouraged to participate. At 11 p.m. join a candlelight communion service, a quiet service with choir and communion ending with lit candles and singing “Silent Night” around the outside cre?che at midnight.

• A Christmas Eve Service of Lessons and Carols takes place at 7 p.m. at

Standish Congregational Church UCC on Oak Hill Road in Standish.

• Raymond Village Community Church, on Main Street in Raymond, holds a Family Christmas Eve Service from 4:30-5:15 p.m. The informal and family-friendly service will include a traditional costume pageant. A cast of children, youth, and college students will retell the story of Jesus’ birth with carols and candlelight, all accompanied by the church’s Senior Choir. A Late-Night Candlelight Service, held 11 p.m.-midnight, will be a time for reflection and quiet celebration before the hustle and bustle of Christmas Day.
